Mark's gospel may be the shortest of the four gospels, but it is full of action and a sense of urgency. Mark leaves us in no doubt as to the purpose of his writing, with the very first sentence stating
The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God".
Rather than studying every verse in detail, this series will look at the big picture of who Jesus is and why he came, as we are encouraged to turn our eyes upon Jesus.
